Designed for bringing produce, herbs or flower heads in from the garden, or taking on a walk to gather plants, mushrooms, fruits.

This basket is made from Dicky Meadows and White Stripped Somerset willow and finished off with a carefully selected Hazel handle from a Sussex coppice.

Traditional and contemporary influences are combined and woven together to the sound of birdsong.

    Inspiration and Techniques

    Lisa Dear's baskets are deeply rooted in her love for the British countryside and commitment to respecting the planet. Using various willow materials sourced from a family-run farm and her coppice work in Sussex, she combines traditional techniques with contemporary design. Her mindful creative process results in useful, tactile vessels that connect natural, renewable materials with human beings.
