RETURNS
To return a product, please email
info@vigourandskills.com.
We will provide you with the return address, either directly to the Supplier or to us, depending on the case.
When posting your return, please ensure that:
- The item(s) are properly packed and protected to avoid damage in transit. Returned products remain your responsibility until they reach the Supplier or Vigour and Skills.
- Any outbound delivery labels are removed or covered.
- The returns form is completed with your order number clearly marked and placed inside the parcel.
All items must be returned within 14 days of receipt, undamaged and as received, with all original packaging, branded boxes, and tags attached. Anything delivered in its original branded box or with dust bags must be placed in an outer protective box for returning.
Returns of earrings (of any kind) are not accepted for hygiene reasons. Returns that do not meet these criteria will not be accepted.
We strongly recommend checking all products thoroughly upon receipt before removing any attached tags or disposing of the original packaging.
If we choose to collect a product from you under specific circumstances, we will arrange this directly with you.

REFUNDS
Once the returned items have been received, they will be inspected — including packaging and labels — to ensure they meet our returns policy. Refunds are made to the original payment method. Please allow up to 14 days for your bank to process the refund.
GIFT VOUCHERS
Gift vouchers purchased from Vigour and Skills are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
They are valid for 18 months from the date of purchase and can be redeemed either online at vigourandskills.com or in person at our Burford studio.
If you return an item purchased using a gift voucher, the refund will be credited back to the same voucher balance (or a replacement voucher issued, where appropriate). No cash refunds will be made for purchases made with gift vouchers.
Vigour and Skills cannot replace lost, deleted, or stolen vouchers, so please keep your voucher code safe. Gift vouchers are also excluded from any promotional discounts unless expressly stated.
CONDITION OF RETURNS
All returned items must be in new, unused, and resalable condition. If an item shows signs of use, damage, or handling beyond what would be reasonable when inspecting a product in a shop, we may refuse the refund.
If your return is refused, we will notify you, and the product can be sent back to you at your own cost.
Shipping fees incurred when placing your order are non-refundable, and you are responsible for the cost of returning non-faulty items unless otherwise agreed.
VAT
Vigour and Skills is not VAT registered at this time. All prices are VAT-free, and no VAT invoice or receipt can be issued. Once registration is complete, this policy will be updated accordingly.
FAULTY OR DAMAGED GOODS
If you receive a faulty or damaged product, please contact us as soon as possible by emailing info@vigourandskills.com with your order number and details of the issue. A member of our team will advise on next steps. Where possible, we will arrange a repair, replacement, or refund.
Please note: damage resulting from normal wear and tear is not considered a fault.
BUSINESS ORDERS
Orders placed by trade professionals, interior designers, or other businesses are treated as business-to-business (B2B) transactions. Under UK law, B2B transactions do not carry the same automatic right to cancel or return goods as consumer purchases. Returns or refunds for business orders are therefore at our discretion, unless goods are faulty or supplied in error.
Business customers are advised to confirm all product details before purchasing. By placing a business order, you acknowledge that no VAT will be charged and no VAT invoice will be issued until Vigour and Skills becomes VAT registered.
CUSTOM, BESPOKE OR PERSONALISED ORDERS
Custom, bespoke, or personalised items made to a customer’s specification are non-refundable and non-returnable, as they are exempt from standard consumer return rights.
If materials have not yet been purchased or work has not yet started, a partial refund may be possible — please contact us as soon as possible to check the status of your order.
