Glynn always part-turns his bowls while the wood is still wet, as this helps with the drying process. When he returned to finish this particular piece, the wood had shifted and the bowl had taken on an oval shape. Rather than re-turning it, he chose to sand it smooth and oil it, giving it a slightly rougher texture than his usual bowls. This quality enhances its rustic, antique character and makes it a truly unique piece.
