‘Quentin’ Mug

£30.00

These ceramic mugs are handmade in Kate's garden studio in Sussex, England. This pattern is called 'Quentin',  it is hand painted with a grey pigment onto a white glaze. The speckles come from little flecks of iron within the body of the clay. When the piece is fired it creates a lovely effect on the surface of the piece.

    Inspiration and Techniques

Kate's patterns are inspired by the changing seasons and her surrounding in Sussex countryside. All her pieces are handmade in stoneware clay, fired in her kiln, glazed and individually hand painted before their final firing, making each creation unique.
