Butterdish – teal
£65.00
Available on Made To Order
Made to order time frame: 3-4 weeks
The new design features a lid that fits neatly on a gallery, preventing butter from getting caught in the closure, a problem with the previous model.
Each piece is hand-thrown on a kick wheel, with slight variations in size, shape, and glaze tone, making every item unique. The butter dish is crafted from a single piece of clay, with the lid and base thrown together and separated at the turning stage to minimise the risk of warping during firing. Matching items like mugs, bowls, teapots, and salt pigs are also available to create a cohesive kitchen set.
Size approx. 11ø x 11 cm.
