This hand-thrown dish balances earthy presence with refined simplicity. The clay body is left raw on the outside for a tactile grip, while the inside is glazed with wood-ash that settles into a soft granite blue — speckled and atmospheric.
Ideal for generous salads, roasted vegetables, fruit, or as a centrepiece on the table. Each piece is unique and bears the subtle marks of the maker’s process.
Food safe. Hand wash recommended.
Dimensions: Ø 20.5cm x H6cm
Inspiration and Techniques
Flora draws inspiration from the natural landscapes of her childhood in the French Pyrénées, and from Japanese pottery traditions. Through hand-carving, hakeme brush techniques, and wood-ash glazes, you’ll find vessels that balance heritage with personal expression. Her work is always evolving — a constant exploration of texture, organic lines, and natural tones. Simple, serene, and soulful, most pieces are functional and all are hand-crafted in her garden studio in Greenwich (London, UK), where they’re fired in an electric kiln.
