Chris and Amy take inspiration from the nature of metal itself, its strength, its honesty, and the way it responds to fire and hammer. The forge allows them to follow a very direct process: heat, shape, refine. Every mark left on the surface shows that the piece has been made by hand, not machine. Finished with natural waxes to protect and enrich the metal, the work made at Coach House Forge reflects both tradition and the makers’ own sense of design.
