Each Libby Sling Bag is handmade to order using natural sheepskin, with variations in shade and coat length making every piece unique. The oak bark tanned leather, sourced from Baker’s tannery in Devon, adds strength and character. Featuring a secure zip fastening, this bag is both practical and distinctive.
Available in White sheepskin with brown details or Teddy Brown with brown details.

Inspiration and Techniques
Melissa works exclusively with full-grain leather, the highest grade that proudly carries the natural markings and imperfections of the animal it once belonged to. She sources her hides from select UK tanneries using sustainable practices, ensuring that only by-products of the meat industry are repurposed into her collections.
Each piece is hand-cut, assembled with traditional tools, and finished with saddle stitching in waxed thread, a meticulous, machine-free method that guarantees strength and longevity. This approach may take more time, but it results in durable, characterful products made to be treasured for years to come.
