Inspiration and Techniques
Helena’s handwoven pieces are inspired by the landscapes of Scotland and East Anglia. She combines chemistry, maths, and design to minimise water and dye wastage in every piece. Drawing from traditional structures such as Damask and Lampas, used by silk weavers in Sudbury, she adds a contemporary twist to a heritage craft. Her careful balance of precision and artistry brings each creation to life, making her work not only unique but also a reflection of sustainable design.
