Lampas Scarf – Garnethill in Bloom

Woven in silk using the traditional lampas technique, this scarf explores the balance between colour and structure. Shades of coral, pink, olive and gold shift across the surface, creating a sense of depth and rhythm as the fabric moves.

Hand-painted to reduce water and dye waste, then woven without electricity, each piece reflects Helena Powell’s thoughtful approach to making, combining sustainability with precision and design.

Inspired by Garnethill’s layered architecture and bursts of colour in bloom, this scarf captures a moment where the city softens into warmth and texture.

Dimensions:  L180cm x W 21cm

Care: Hand wash in lukewarm water with a small amount of soap. Iron while damp and hang to dry. A gentle steam will help restore the silk’s natural sheen.
