Design and create your own ceramic Christmas ornaments in this festive two-hour workshop with ceramicist Rachel Movitz. You’ll shape and decorate up to four unique clay pieces using traditional hand-building techniques, which Rachel will glaze and fire after the session. A relaxed, creative way to begin your festive season — no experience needed, just your imagination.

Inspiration and Techniques
Rachel specialises in wheel-thrown ceramics and works with both wood fire and electric kilns to achieve distinctive effects. She enjoys the tactile nature of clay and the endless creative possibilities it offers, from shaping and forming to experimenting with texture. Each piece, from tea bowls to serving bowls, is made by hand, ensuring no two are exactly alike.
