Parent and Child pottery workshop <br>Tuesday 28th of October
£55.00
Pottery making is both a sensorial and visual experience, and clay as a medium remains wonderfully mysterious and unique. This parent-and-child pottery workshop offers a therapeutic, engaging and memorable way for families to connect through creativity.
Taking place during the half-term holidays on Tuesday 28th October 2025, the session is a perfect creative outing for families looking to do something hands-on and memorable together.
First delivered over three years ago, the format brings together one parent and one child to learn as equals — strengthening bonds through the shared experience of learning a new skill. The session is designed to be relaxed and fun, while still being taught with care and intention.
Participants will explore handbuilding techniques such as coiling, slab building and pinching. Using toys and imaginative prompts, the workshop gently encourages creativity in both children and adults. In the second half of the session, the group will shift focus to designing playful Halloween-themed objects.
Everyone will leave with their own handmade pieces — and hopefully a lovely memory, too.
The cost is £55 per person, and a minimum booking of two places (one adult and one child) is required.
