Bea Jareno
Established in 2006, Bea Jareno is an ethical and sustainable London based jeweller, originally from Madrid, Spain.
Jewellery is her passion. To create a piece of jewellery and bring joy to the wearer is a great source of happiness for her. As it is when a piece of jewellery is worn, it truly comes to life.
Bea Jareno, an artist, jeweller and a maker, loves designing one of a kind limited edition pieces of contemporary jewellery using traditional jewellery making techniques. Each piece of jewellery and silverware is exquisitely fully handcrafted in her Atelier in the iconic Portobello area using recycled precious metals and individually sourced gemstones.
She currently has four collections: the Afiok collection is inspired by Africa. It features a signature quill clasp, signature handcrafted textured links and a lot of contrasts in finish and surfaces. The Indian Summer collection is inspired by India, her travels there and her love for yoga and meditation. The Plethora collection is inspired by the abundance, richness and colours of the sea and the underwater world. And the latest, Tierra collection is inspired by the Earth, created from nature by mono casting natural forms into recycled precious metals, they then become unique pieces of contemporary jewellery.
Bea says “Making jewellery and the creative process allows me to be in the present. This is what I call ‘being in the flow’. This emotional state and focused yet fluid energy is expressed in all of my work whether it is a personal project or a commission. I love to work with a variety of precious metals, experimenting in contrasting colours, patterns and textures. I celebrate the imperfections in materials which, in my view, become perfect for they hold a unique beauty”.
For Bea, true magic happens when a piece of jewellery finds its rightful owner.
