Playing with colour and pattern, using simple shapes and clean lines, Emily creates one off ceramic jewellery and vessels.
Before working with ceramics, Emily had a stretch of curating and working with artists, both independently, then setting up a Shop and Gallery in Oxford championing early and mid-career artists, independent designers, and makers.
With a background in Fine Art Painting, Emily returned to making a few years ago and fell in love with the grounding nature of clay as a way to explore ideas in a functional and mindful way. The natural world, as well as architecture and the interaction of object and light are constant sources of inspiration.
