Darte Jewellery is a contemporary jewellery brand, designed and handmade by Gemma from her studio on Glasgow’s Southside. Founded in 2016, Darte Jewellery uses traditional silversmithing techniques to encapsulate a timeless appeal and a consideration for everyday wear, always with quality at the forefront. Before turning her hand to jewellery, Gemma graduated from The Glasgow School of Art with a degree in Textiles, working for several years in commercial jobs as a designer in the homeware industry before embarking on an evening class in silversmithing and discovering her passion for jewellery making. Using recycled silver and gold , as well as sustainable packaging for a minimal environment impact, Darte Jewellery is perfect for those who try to lead a more environmentally-aware lifestyle.
