Joanne Bowles
Joanne is a contemporary jeweller, crafting textural masterpieces inspired by the surfaces and patinas found on objects, paying homage to ancient jewellery traditions. Her creative process is an exploration, experimenting with layers of surfaces, precious metals, and gemstones to produce timeless, rich pieces.
In addition to her range of ready-to-wear jewellery, Joanne delights in collaborating with clients, designing bespoke pieces tailored exclusively for them. This involves repurposing beloved but unused jewellery into something new or creating entirely new pieces.
A dedicated artisan, Joanne infuses craftsmanship and quality into every creation. Her commitment to sustainability shines through her use of recycled materials and ethically sourced gemstones whenever possible.
Joanne holds a Master's Degree from the Royal College of Art and operates from her co-run studio and shop, Winchester Makers, situated in the historic city of Winchester.
