The Urris Tote is crafted from sustainably sourced oak bark-tanned leather, produced by Bakers Tannery in Devon, England, the UK’s last oak bark tannery. This leather is known for its durability, rich texture, and ability to develop a stunning patina over time. The bag measures 12″ in height, 12″ in width (at the opening), and 4″ in depth (at the base), making it a practical yet stylish everyday accessory.

Each tote is hand-cut from a single piece of leather for strength and longevity. It features hand-set rivets from Abbey England’s equestrian foundry and is stitched by hand using a traditional saddle stitch with hand-waxed Barbour linen threads sourced from Northern Ireland. The edges are meticulously hand-burnished, and the final product is finished with a nurturing leather treatment to enhance its beauty and longevity.

The design draws inspiration from the rugged embrace of the Urris Hills, blending timeless style with artisanal craftsmanship. Each tote comes with a cotton canvas dust bag, sourced from Wales, to protect and store the bag when not in use. Over time, this handcrafted piece will develop a unique patina, reflecting the care and stories of its owner.

For care, occasional leather treatment is recommended to maintain its quality, and it is best to avoid prolonged exposure to water.
