Design
The Moon Table is a sculptural games table designed for both chess and backgammon. The spherical body is internally illuminated, allowing the game board to glow softly when in use.
The interchangeable playing boards are held in place by magnets and can be positioned anywhere across the surface. When placed in the uppermost position they form the playing area for a game, while the table can also function simply as a light source when no board is attached.
Both functional and sculptural, the piece sits comfortably between furniture, lighting and game design.
