Frame Basket

Shallow frame basket, ideal for collecting herbs, garden veg etc. The round frame is 18" wide. Thick willow is cut in the winter, shaped on formers and left to dry. Once dry the basket is woven using Staffordshire grown willow from my willow beds. The ribs are made from split hazel, coppiced from the Churnet Valley, split and shaped using a draw knife. This beautiful basket is sturdy and has a multitude of uses in the home and garden.
