Inspired by foraging on the Norfolk coastline they measure approximately 10 by 7 CMS, a reminder of the coast on your tablescapes. Each piece is unique, handmade in Norfolk and although sizes are given they are approximate and surface colour vary. The chalk white glaze has a toasty finish showing brown at the edges. Inspiration and Techniques

HUMBLEYARD is a collaboration between Marion and Scott Stuart. Both fine artists and partners, they have worked together on a Norfolk inspired set of functional wares. Referencing the Norfolk natural landscape surrounding them they make with simplicity and elegance alluding to Japanese aesthetics such as wabi-sabi. From simple drinking cups and other irregular, tactile forms and decoration. Pieces are slab constructed and hand thrown with a painterly approach to glazing, encouraging meditation and contemplation.
