Using traditional box stitching techniques, this sculptural piece explores the possibilities of leather beyond functional objects. The form plays with balance and structure while celebrating the material qualities of leather.

Care

Leather will naturally age and develop a patina over time.

Keep away from heat, direct sunlight and liquids. Dust with a dry cloth and occasionally polish with a colourless leather conditioner.

Material notes

Jessie works with the high-quality top layer of leather and believes in respecting the material and avoiding waste. Natural markings and small scars may be visible in the leather — these beautiful imperfections are an intentional part of the work.
