Elm Fruit Bowl

This bowl is made from the same tree trunk that a number of other items on my have been made from. Elm is very rare now due to the devastating effects of Dutch Elm Disease in the ’70s.  It has a lovely warmth to it and there is a bark inclusion on one side which adds character.  It is 25cm across and the thick walls makes it quite heavy.
