Inspired by the murmuration of starlings where it is hard to find a single point of focus in the continuous rise and fall of these birds. The whole piece is best viewed with a tealight inside or below spotlights so the effect is more dramatic. The vessel is then hand polished to a satin texture finish.

    Each piece is slip cast to emphasise the transparency that occurs naturally, whilst experimenting with mark making, layering and carving.
