This mug is named "Tide Mills", it is inspired by long, hazy summer days spent eating picnics at "Tide Mills", a ruined mill just behind a stretch of pebbly beach between Seaford and Newhaven in Sussex.

Size (Approximate)Height 7.5 cm, Diameter 9.5cm.Each piece is handmade on a pottery wheel and then hand-painted so there may be slight variation in size and colour. You will not necessarily receive the mug pictured. Please note this item is handmade not factory made so there may be minor imperfections. This range is made from high fired stoneware clay. It is hard wearing and suitable for microwaves and dishwashers. Each piece is hand thrown on a pottery wheel and then left to dry a little, the underside is then trimmed and tidied. It is then left to dry out and ready for it’s first firing. Once fired it is then dipped in glaze and hand-painted with the patterns. The piece is then ready for it’s final firing in the kiln.

    Kate's patterns are inspired by the changing seasons and her surrounding in Sussex countryside. All her pieces are handmade in stoneware clay, fired in her kiln, glazed and individually hand painted before their final firing, making each creation unique.
