Gulmohar Large platter in Mint Green

This large platter is made on potter's wheel in terracotta clay. The surface is covered in Mind green matt glaze. I have used Sgrafitto on the surface to capture memories of my sisters and me during hot summer days in India. Gulmohar is a lush green flowering tree, with bright red flowers. It blooms in the peak of summer in parts of India.
