Melissa works exclusively with full-grain leather, the highest grade that proudly carries the natural markings and imperfections of the animal it once belonged to. She sources her hides from select UK tanneries using sustainable practices, ensuring that only by-products of the meat industry are repurposed into her collections.

Each piece is hand-cut, assembled with traditional tools, and finished with saddle stitching in waxed thread, a meticulous, machine-free method that guarantees strength and longevity. This approach may take more time, but it results in durable, characterful products made to be treasured for years to come.
