Natasha Heasman (Studio Artemis)
Studio Artemis developed organically during Natasha's maternity leave as a fashion stylist. Getting outside, even in the cold winter months became integral to Natasha's well being as a new parent. These walks became known as ‘nature naps’ and still continue today almost a year on. Natasha long had an admiration for nature - both land and sea. However, never more so than watching the seasons change day by day whilst walking around local woodland and along the estuary in her home of Leigh on Sea. Having studied at a Sussex based art college before graduating in 2010 with a first class degree from Ravensbourne University. Nathasha went on to work for numerous high end fashion publications such as Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar and Marie Claire. Whilst working in the luxury sector, she developed an eye for composition, colour palettes and enjoyed focusing on the details that created a final piece. Studio Artemis prides itself on being a friend of the natural world. Nothing is picked or pressed unnecessarily or without careful evaluation of its surroundings, confirming the preservation of the ecological balance and biodiversity. Recycled materials will always be used where possible. All packaging is either compostable, recyclable or reusable, with plans in the pipeline to plant a tree for every purchase made.
