Ximena Heasman

Ximena Heasman is a Colombian/British ceramic artist and designer, originally from Ráquira—an Andean village celebrated as “the village of potters.” Guided by her father’s heritage, her formative years were steeped in the art of pottery.

Although she holds a degree in Product Design from The National University of Colombia, her true calling was always ceramics. Her work is a harmonious blend of Colombian roots and British influences, resulting in contemporary stoneware and raku ceramics infused with themes of joy, nature, and the Feminine Divine.

Having lived in Colombia until the age of 27, Ximena is deeply aware of the nation’s historical and ongoing challenges and is committed to using her art as a conduit for positivity.
