Ximena Heasman
Ximena Heasman is a Colombian/British ceramic artist and designer hailing from Ráquira, an Andean village celebrated as "the village of potters." Guided by her father's heritage, Ximena's formative years were steeped in the art of pottery. Although she holds a degree in Product Design from The National University of Colombia, her true calling was always ceramics. Ximena’s work is a harmonious blend of her Colombian roots and British influences, resulting in a collection of contemporary stoneware and raku ceramics that burst with themes of joy, nature, and the Feminine Divine. Living in Colombia until the age of 27, she is deeply aware of the nation's historical and ongoing challenges and is committed to using her art as a conduit for positivity.
