This basket is woven in a herringbone weave with a blended mix of Whissender, Dicky Meadows and Green Dicks willows. The base is formed using a variety of weaves to create a spiral effect. This is perfect for a table centrepiece or kitchen storage.

    Karen’s work is still influenced by her passion for gardening, and she now designs baskets that combine traditional and contemporary techniques and incorporate other found or coppiced materials. Growing willow is an important part of Karen’s practice. It helps her to better understand the material and create a sustainable supply whilst minimising the environmental impact of her business.
