    Inspiration and Techniques

    Victoria weaves conceptual ideas and stories from her enriching exotic travel experiences, la joie de vivre and the wellbeing effect of nature (biophilia) through her botanical jewellery. She uses the ancient art of the lost wax technique and traditional jewellery craftsmanship working with flat metal sheets. In her hands, flexible wax is slowly scraped away, carved, shaped and finely textured to sculpt organic fluid forms that evoke the rhythm and movement of the beauty of nature. She uses a saw, fine files, knives, chisels and sanding sheets to form her design ideas. Her jewels harness the sensuality of refined organic forms, radiant colourful light, raw elegance with a strong, energetic yet calm look & feel.
