Jessie White is a multidisciplinary designer and maker from Scotland, now living and working in London. Her practice explores the relationship between traditional craft and contemporary design, using materials and techniques to tell stories through the objects she creates.

Working primarily with leather, Jessie draws on traditional saddlery techniques while approaching form with a sculptural eye. Her work combines strong, considered shapes with a deep respect for craftsmanship, resulting in pieces that feel both bold and carefully made.

Jessie has worked with leather for over ten years, developing her skills through hands-on practice and through her work with respected studios such as Bill Amberg Studio and The Restory. These experiences helped shape her understanding of leather as a material and the many possibilities it offers when approached with patience and skill.

Today, her work focuses on creating distinctive handmade pieces that honour traditional leatherworking techniques while exploring new forms and ideas through material, structure and process.
