Saskia Rigby
Saskia Rigby is a ceramic designer who has been working in the industry for nearly seven years. After graduating from Manchester School of Art with a degree in Three-Dimensional Design – Ceramics, she established her studio in Staffordshire, where she continues to develop her distinctive style. Alongside her own practice, she works for 1882 Ltd as apprentice to modeller Andrew Henshall, gaining valuable expertise in traditional processes.
Saskia’s work is recognised for its intricate designs, delicate use of colour, and refined craftsmanship. Her ceramics are sold through galleries and shops internationally, and she also creates bespoke pieces for private clients and commissions for projects worldwide. Most recently, her work was featured in Design and Create Contemporary Tableware by Sue Pryke and Linda Bloomfield. Dedicated to pushing the boundaries of her craft, Saskia continues to explore new techniques and materials to create innovative and memorable pieces.
